The Warehouse Intermediate position is something we’re asking for specifically during the first two weeks of the month, when our client intake volume is at its highest. The intermediate, as the name suggests, will bridge the gap between our intake and warehouse roles. Primarily, they will be responsible for ensuring that the intake area receives everything it needs during busy periods, as well as clearing away any obstructions that may be piling up and keeping things running smoothly.

Welcome to Leftovers! Our Rescue Food volunteers transport unsellable but still edible food from donors directly to service agencies. Rescuing food can be as convenient as stopping off at a local business on your way home. Or challenge yourself to learn more about the city you live in with a route that’s out of your normal area! Either way, you’re getting good food to the people who need it most.

Sign up in the Food Rescue app and select your city to see what opportunities are currently available. Then choose the opportunity with the time, date, and location(s) that work best for you, and you’re ready to prevent good food from being wasted!

INTRODUCTION:

The Volunteer Program at Peak is intended to expand the community connections for individuals in receipt of services, while providing a meaningful volunteer experience for those volunteering.

Volunteers are not to replace staff members of Peak, but to be additional resources for the people receiving services.

Volunteers will service in specific areas at Peak and will be provided specific directions and expectations of the role they will play.
