Interfaith Food Bank Opportunities
Are you seeking an opportunity to make a positive impact in your community while experiencing the rewards of volunteerism? If so, Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge is currently looking to fill 3 Board of Directors positions with 2-year terms, beginning April 2025.
In partnership with the community, Interfaith Food Bank Society of Lethbridge is a leader in alleviating hunger and its root causes. We are a progressive organization and are continually looking for opportunities to develop, support and strengthen a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion beginning at the Board level.
We are currently seeking individuals with experience in the following areas:
- Human resources
- Legal
- Finance and accounting
- Fundraising
- Client advocacy
Food donated to Interfaith needs to be sorted in categories that can then be stored and picked from.
It involves a lot of physical work, moving food in and out of warehouses, coolers, and freezers.
Work with several others, both volunteers and our warehouse staff.
Need to understand that all people must be treated with dignity and respect, no matter their differences or abilities.
Need to believe in the dignity of all people, preparing their hampers with respect and care.
